For more than 28 years, Darrell Becker has dedicated his career to helping people better understand their health through a thoughtful, systems-based approach to wellness. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, his work centers on identifying the underlying patterns that may be contributing to chronic health challenges.

His goal is simple: to provide clarity, education, and practical guidance so people can make informed decisions about their health.

A Lifelong Student of Holistic Medicine

Darrell's professional journey began in 1998 in East Montpelier, Vermont, where he trained under the mentorship of Dr. Richard Warmann, DC. During four years of intensive clinical training, he developed a comprehensive understanding of holistic assessment and patient care.

That mentorship continues today. Each year, Darrell returns to Vermont for advanced clinical training, reflecting his belief that great practitioners never stop learning.

Education & Professional Training

Darrell attended Green Mountain Institute College of Acupuncture and Eastern Medical Sciences, where he studied Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, herbology, anatomy, physiology, and Western medical sciences.

After relocating to Hawaii, he continued his education at the Hawaii College of Oriental Medicine, earning his Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM).

In 2013, he became a licensed acupuncturist in the State of Hawaii after successfully completing all state licensing requirements.

Educator & Clinician

From 2013 to 2015, Darrell served as a professor at the Hawaii College of Oriental Medicine, teaching both acupuncture theory and Western medical sciences to future practitioners.

Teaching strengthened his commitment to clinical reasoning, evidence-informed decision-making, and helping patients understand the "why" behind their health challenges—not simply the "what."

A Systems-Based Philosophy

Throughout his career, Darrell has continued to expand his education in nutrition, herbal medicine, functional assessment, lifestyle medicine, and complementary healing disciplines.

He believes the body functions as an interconnected system, where multiple factors often contribute to chronic illness. Rather than searching for a single cause, he works to identify patterns, educate his clients, and help them better understand how different aspects of their health may be connected.

Every consultation is built around careful listening, thoughtful evaluation, and creating an individualized path forward.

Today, Darrell works with clients throughout Hawaii and remotely across the United States.
